Bigfoot 16

Still owned by Bigfoot, this frame lies in the bushes behind the Bigfoot HQ.

Bigfoot 16 was a monster truck built by Bigfoot 4X4. Although construction was begun in 1997, it didn't make its competitive debut until 2007, after Bigfoot 17 debuted in 2003. Dan Runte piloted this truck to the MLMT championship in 2007 and several others. After Larry Swim had a hard crash in 2012 with the truck, it was retired, making 16 one of the shortest-lived Bigfoot trucks.

BIGFOOT 16 was the first new truck built in over a decade. It was started and driven for the first time on Thursday, April 26, 2007 by legendary driver Dan runte. #16 made it's public debut in Springfield, MO at the Four Wheel & Off Road Jamboree. This truck uses a 2-speed Abruzzi transmission. All of the other BIGFOOT trucks use the standard C-6, which is a 3-speed. It also used a 545 c.i. engine. In 2007 it won the MLMT racing championship. The truck crashed in 2012 and had to be retired.
