BIGFOOT 50x50 Day 3, 2022: “Intergalactic Planetary”

2022 was shaping up to be another busy year for Team BIGFOOT. The Schnells, Darron & Rebecca, were starting off the year overseas in Glasgow, Scotland. After showing the U.K. a good bit of monster truck action, The Husband & Wife duo took Midwest Madness 15 and Race Ace 19 on a world tour. Visiting Spain, Denmark, Poland, Hungary and Slovenia in the first quarter alone.

Stateside, Christian Norman and newcomer Eric Steinberg would do their own bit of map dotting in their Midwest Madness and Race Ace machines. Going everywhere in the U.S. with shows in Knoxville, Peoria, Cedar Rapids, New Orleans, Tupelo, and Corpus Christi, just to name a few. In January, BIGFOOT Veteran Larry Swim came back to the seat in Race Ace 21 for a round of shows in Albany, New York, covering for Steinberg.

With everybody back in the States by mid year, BIGFOOT 1 could be seen at the Washington County Fair Park for the MotorMania Spring Thaw show in West Bend, Wisconsin. Rebecca & Darron would take Midwest Madness 15 to St. Charles Harley Davidson, then Darron would join the Toughest Monster Tour at The Stompin' Grounds in Lamar, Missouri. Later, Eric Steinberg would join in with BIGFOOT 19.

At the annual Back to School Bash in Charlotte in August, Darron would run into some hard times by not qualifying for the main show's race. Showing that with a track as long and difficult as Charlotte, even BIGFOOT can fall prey to it.

September seemed to be peak BIGFOOT season with the annual Open House on September 10th, then a week later BIGFOOTs 1, 5 and Firestone 20 could be seen at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit.

Capping off September, The Schnells and Midwest Madness 18 joined Bob Brown and BIGFOOT 1 down in Bowling Green, Kentucky for the 2022 Holley Intergalactic Ford Festival & NMRA World Finals at Beech Bend Raceway Park. Rebecca and 18 did some of their own crushing, and at one point the trio crossed the track with BIGFOOT 1 while a trio of drifters made a cyclone of tire smoke around them, making for a most awesome sight and experience.
