BIGFOOT 50x50 Day 47, 1978:

BIGFOOT's first of many appearances at the annual Gravelrama event in Cleves, OH takes place in 1978, with the truck itself being touted as the pre-event parade's "Grand Marshall."

BIGFOOT also attempted to conquer a pretty serious mud bog pit at the Missouri State Fair in Sedalia that year as well, seemingly with mixed results. Interestingly, in both instances (and probably several others), Bob alternated between the often mis-named Firestone Super All-Traction on/off-road tire (thanks Richard Scott!) that the truck was so frequently seen wearing at the time and a set of very aggressive Firestone agricultural tires with wheels adapted to the 6-lug pattern required for the Rockwell2.5-ton axles.
